“Welcome to the Left Behind Game Club”

Michael Ruffolo
Michael is a management consultant with a passion for video games. He graduated from the University of Windsor with an MBA with a focus on entertainment marketing, and since then has helped professional sports teams, marketing agencies, and game developers understand the esports landscape. In his spare time you can find him hanging out in Twitch chat of his favourite streamers or hosting his podcast, the Left Behind Game Club.
“You’re entitled to a wrong opinion”

Moe Murtadi
Moe is a Web Developer who spends his free time playing and learning to build games. He graduated from the University of Windsor with a Bachelor of Commerce degree which he used to become an insurance broker. Shortly into his career he picked up a hobby of learning how to code using some online tutorials and courses. Fast forward a few years, he’s now a full time web developer and working on building Unity games in his spare time. You can find him in the podcast spitting out hot takes on the regular.
“GUNS” + “Ain’t no body got time for reading and cut scenes”

Katie Lesperance
Katie is a registered nurse who earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2011 and has since mainly worked as a telemetry nurse. She is a podcaster who co-founded Cutscenes: A Video Game Move Podcast and loves to guest on other pods. A lifelong fan of many video game genres spanning from action to strategy to puzzle and everything in between. You can find her on Twitter or in the LBGC Discord where she’s always up for a good debate.

Flora Merigold
Flora is a writer and educator. She graduated from the University of North Florida with two Bachelor’s degrees in Philosophy and English literature, as well as a Master’s in Rhetoric and Composition. At the end of 2017, she co-founded Epilogue Gaming, a website and community dedicated to exploring the relationship between video games and storytelling, where she serves as editor-in-chief for all things games criticism.

Travis Colenutt
Travis also co-founded Cutscenes: A Video Game Movie Podcast and screams a lot about the X-Men in real life and the internet. Between full-time work and fatherhood, Travis has been spending his free time delving into sci-fi or horror, whether it’s the games he plays, the books he reads, or the things he watches. You can find him on Bluesky or acting as our LBGC Discord video game Fantasy Critic commissioner.

Alex Martin
Alex Martin is an IT Manager dual-wielding Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and Biology, a build optimized for both logic puzzles and questionable life choices. He’s been gaming since the glory days of text-parser adventures on MS-DOS, but took a lengthy “parental side quest” that paused his playtime for about seven years. Now that the little party members are more self-sufficient, he’s back to tackling action games, puzzles, and RPGs. The Left Behind Game Club concept fits perfectly – he’s literally catching up on all the titles he missed during his real-life grind.
